Samsung showcased some of its new features coming in One UI 3.0. The Korean tech giant began testing the UI is some regions and plans to release officially this month. According to its Malaysian website, One UI 3.0 will be focusing on the simpler, more optimized look with a redesigned Quick Panel, that makes easier for users to switch back and forth between music and videos. Along with an enhanced notification panel helping users with more information at a glance, even when the phone is locked.
One UI also brings Information cards with details such as weather, calendar, and more. The lock screen gets its “Dynamic Lock” feature that include an “abundant pool” and more categories of lock screen images, but it will be enabled on Galaxy Tab devices.
One UI 3.0 seeks special attention to foldables, features including multi-active window, Dual Preview and Rear Cam Selfie. Samsung’s One UI 3.0 will also come with full-screen video calls with the AR emoji masks, that were available from One UI 2.5.
The update shall first begin to roll out the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 flagships. Following the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Tab S7 series, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
