iPhone 13 Series may house the Ultra-Wide Camera With f/1.8 6P Lens

The sale of the iPhone 12 series just began, and Apple is now started working on the next iPhone 13 models. A report leaked by distinguished analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the iPhone 13 series will come in the same four sizes as the existing lineup, however, the ‘Pro’ models will have improved camera sensors, together with a six-element f/1.8 ultrawide lens with autofocus.

Since, both iPhone 12 Pro models at present houses a 5P F / 2.4 ultrawide camera, which is a big improvement for the ultra-wide-angle camera. However, Kuo did not mention whether the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 models will have the same camera.

Beyond this, Kuo also believes that iPhone 2022 models i.e iPhone 14 series to be equipped with the same improved Ultra-Wide camera with f/1.8, 6P and autofocus. He also stated that Largan will be the lead supplier of voice coil motors (VCM) for the new cameras covering about 70% of orders for the ‌iPhone 13‌. This company currently delivers half of the VCM in iPhone 12’s ultra-wide cameras to Apple.
