OnePlus has introduced a new feature for air passenger on a low battery in India. Previously, the company was seen installing Warp Charging stations at airports, begin with the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. OnePlus is adding a new ‘Nearby Charging Stations’ service on OxygenOS, to assist its users to locate these stations, by navigating so users to gain some juice quickly while waiting for their next flight.

Apparently, this benefit is currently offered in India and is available in the Bangalore airport, and coming soon to Delhi airport. Users will get notified whenever they close to the OnePlus’s charging station.

Looking on screenshots, it appears to be opt-in, and users can enable it if they need it or can also “mute” it for a duration of 6-hour if the notifications become annoying.

“The service runs with the help of beacons integrated in the charging stations that allows OnePlus devices to identify a nearby charging station and generate a notification. You can mute this service for 6 hours if you find yourself in long halts at the airports,” mentioned in OnePlus’s blog post.

Moreover, OnePlus hasn’t clarified upon the charging speeds at these stations. But this shouldn’t bother much as OnePlus Smartphones is famous for its faster-charging speed. The new offering devices by OnePlus charges from 0-100 in just about 40 minutes, credit goes to the incredible 65W Warp charging technology.
