The Amazfit Pop Pro smartwatch is set to be unveiled on December 1 in China. A promotional poster announcing the launch of the latest device was issued by Huami and has shared main specifications and design as well, and it is set to provide NFC support and come with built-in GPS. The latter will prove to be the largest differentiator between the current Amazfit Pop Pro and the Amazfit Pop vanilla edition.
Amazfit Pop Pro would be a significantly more premium version of Amazfit Pop, determined by the brand, launched last month. Amazfit Pop Pro looks similar to Amazfit Pop in terms of style, with the teaser indicating a teal colour strap option and a square-shaped dial.
A squared dial with a colour screen monitor and a silicone strap on the poster. The promotional poster also indicates that the Amazfir Pop Pro smartwatch will weigh just 31 gram and include the index measure of PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence) to assist the user’s health and quality of life. It is reported to have a 1.43-inch OLED display and to choose from more than 60 sports modes, including running, walking and cycling. The poster provides 24×7 aid for heart rate monitoring and also a microphone on deck for voice recognition.
Amazfit Pop Pro is likely to be priced higher than Amazfit Pop, which in China is priced at CNY 349 (approximately Rs. 3,900). However, Huami has not provided any information on whether or not it will carry the Amazfit Pop collection to markets outside China, including India, or not.
