The Cupertino giant once again surprised the tech-world by their much-anticipated launch of AirPods max. The much-awaited headphones are the year-end revelation by Apple for the pandemic- ridden world. The new over the ear noise-cancelling headphones are called the AirPods Max which is set to go on sale on December 15.
The AirPods Max dons a sleek design that stands apart from other premium headphones cost around Rs 59,900, which is one of the costliest headphones in the market right now. The high-end wireless headphones come in five colours – Space grey, Sky blue, silver, pink, and green. It features a knit mesh canopy, spanning the headband made to distribute weight and reduce on-head pressure.
Furthermore, it has what Apple calls a “custom acoustic design” with a 40mm driver system “that provides rich, deep bass, accurate mid-range, and crisp, clean high-frequency extension so every note can be heard.” AirPods Max offers 20 – hour battery life and charges over Apple’s lighting connector. Apple has added the Apple watch feature of the Apple Watch Digital Crown – The Digital Crown offers volume control and the ability to play or pause audio, skip tracks, answer or end phone calls, and activate Siri.
The new headphones come with the ‘smart case’ specially built for the AirPods Max which puts it in a low-power state. The overall features don’t sound significant level tech improvement as there are many noise-cancelling headphones with the same features and costing way less than the AirPods Max in particular market favourites Sony WH-1000XM4 and Bose 700.
