Redmi 9 Power housing Snapdragon 662 with 48MP Quad-Cameras Launched in India

Xiaomi one of the last offering for the year 2020 by unveiling Redmi 9 Power has now launched in India. Redmi 9 Power is a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 4G which launched in China in past weeks. Although the Redmi 9 Power features 48MP Quad-Cameras, housing a Snapdragon 662 SOC alongside a humongous battery powering the device altogether.

Redmi 9 Power: Specifications

This Redmi Smartphone sports 6.53-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 2340 x 1080-pixels resolution with a traditional 60Hz refresh rate. The screen panel has a cutout for waterdrop notch at the top enclosing an 8MP selfie camera sensor alongside Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Redmi 9 Power’s prime highlight is the quad-camera setup is featuring a 48MP primary camera along with 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro lens to enhance the Macro photography experience to some extent or Xiaomi just added the macro camera to increase the number of cameras on the smartphone. Whereas the Fingerprint sensor is embedded into the power button itself.

Talking about the memory the device comes with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage which are pretty common these days. Whereas the devices get is energy from a massive 6000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging. Apparently, Xiaomi decided to bundle a 22.5W charger in the box for whatever reason. And sneaking at the ports the Redmi 9 Power is equipped with a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Hi-res Stereo speakers and an IR Blaster to control devices remotely according to the specs sheet.

Briefing the processor specification Redmi 9 Power houses a Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 SOC designed on 11nm manufacturing process with Qualcomm Kryo 260 CPU, Octa-core CPU, CPU Clock Speed Up to 2 GHz and Qualcomm Adreno 610 GPU. The smartphone runs Xiaomi own MIUI 12 with ads on top of Android 11.

Xiaomi priced the Redmi 9 Power at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB+64GB i.e. the base offering by the company, while 4GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs. 11,999. The smartphone comes with 4 sparkling colours which are Mightly Black, Blazing Blue, Fiery Red, and Electric Green. Also, Xiaomi Mi QLED 4K TV Launch in India later this week.

Redmi 9 Power will be exclusively sold via Amazon India & Mi.com from December 22, 2020.
