With AI suggestions and more granular controls, Google introduced a new editor on Android to allow users to edit their images directly last month in the app. Suggestions such as Enhance and Color Pop have been added, allowing users to make adjustments to their images.
Recently, a Google spokesman stated that it is now introducing a new take on its Color Pop feature that can be added to any picture by users, without limiting it to just those with detailed details.
Google Photos users will have to purchase a Google One subscription to use this new paid Color Pop feature. Google plans to roll out more tools that may require a paid plan in the editing suite in future.
