Vivo Release Official Roadmap for OriginOS Update

Vivo current custom Android Skin Funtouch OS will be replaced by new skin named Origin Os. Confirming the update Vivo officially releases Roadmap for OriginOS Update on their official Weibo account.

Earlier Vivo clarified that their upcoming smartphone Vivo X60 in the X series will be the first phone to run OriginOS out of the box. Beyond that Vivo has listed about 30 Vivo and iQOO smartphones to get the first public beta of OriginOS.

According to the company, the update will roll out in 3 batches – before January 31, 2021, before Chinese New Year which is celebrated on February 12, 2021, and in the second quarter of 2021. Here is the list below for the exact timeline:

Do keep in mind the above list of devices are primarily sold inside China. Furthermore, Vivo hasn't clarified yet the global release of OriginOS, but we could expect the company to make an official announcement in the upcoming weeks.
