Xiaomi Mi 11 Launched Globally with Snapdragon 888 SoC

The latest flagship from Xiaomi the Mi 11 gets launched globally. However, the smartphone was earlier launched in China last year and loved by everyone. There are some changes to made by the company as compared to the Chinese Model. The Mi 11 gives tough competition to the Samsung S21 lineup both in terms of performance and value for money.

The smartphone houses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SOC, alongside a hole-punch design and a 2K display. The display, however, has curved edges on all four sides with a 120Hz refresh rate. Talking about RAM and storage the Mi 11 sports 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB on the global variant. Meanwhile, the Chinese Model also features 12GB/256GB option. 

The prime highlight aside from the spec sheet was the Cameras. Xiaomi Mi 11 has a triple rear camera setup on the back with a massive a 108-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.85 lens and optical image stabilisation, along with a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle lens with a field of view (FoV) of 123 degrees. Along with several cameras features like Magic Zoom, Time Freeze, Parallel World, and Freeze Frame, with AI capabilities. Well, the front camera is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Mi 11 also features stereo speakers that Harmon Kardon tunes, IR Blaster, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. Talking about biometrics the device has an in-display fingerprint sensor which can also function as a heart rate monitor. Mi 11 is powered with a 4,600mAh battery that supports Mi TurboCharge 55W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Looking at the price of the Mi 11 it is expected EUR 749 ~Rs. 65,800 for for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant and EUR 799 ~Rs. 70,100 for the 8GB + 256GB storage model. Do note that the official retail price hasn't been announced by Xiaomi yet.
